Youmin Kang & Soomin Kang

We love creating and experimenting with narrative-driven worlds. The duo’s first short narrative project AVA FROM MY CLASS was an official selection at festivals around the world, including the Sundance Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival,  and Palm Springs International Shortfest. Our second film, FRAGMENTS OF SUMMER premiered at the Festival Du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal. We are based in NYC, Seoul, and London.

Youmin Kang received her M.F.A. from New York University Tisch School of the Arts and also works as an editor. Films she has edited have screened at festivals around the world, such as Berlinale and SXSW. Soomin Kang studied philosophy and is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Philosophy.

강유민 & 강수민

윈도우피플은 강유민과 강수민의 영상 작업을 위한 프로젝트명이다. 강유민은 뉴욕대학교 예술대학원 영화과를 졸업했고, 강수민은 콜럼비아 대학교에서 철학을 전공했다. 첫 프로젝트 <연극수업>은 부산국제영화제에서 월드프리미어 후 선댄스영화제에서 인터네셔널 프리미어로 상영했다. 두번째 영화 <여름의 조각들>은 몬리트올 누보시네마영화제에 초청됐다. 뉴욕, 런던, 서울을 오가며 활동한다.
